Dear Doctor Yeung,

I read your article with interest since I've just undergone cystoscopy and was handed down Xatral XL (alfuzosin) 10mg for treatment of my enlarged prostate. I have two questions with this medicine:-

1. Upon taking it in the evening as recommended, I have stuffed noses resulting in eye-ache and head-ache in the morning. Is that normal reaction and if so how long will it last?

2. I'm also taking Lipitor regularly, and with it an elevated index for my liver function, which is under observation but was told acceptable. I noted in this medication's instruction that it should not be taken under "impaired liver function". So, is it still okay for me to continue to take it?

Thank you.
